Nowadays the number of Prague hotels has soared, estimates run into 400 hotels and pensions. Back in the early nineties the quality of the hotels in Prague was questionable but at the moment all international hotel chains have their own hotels in Prague. From very basic to the most luxurious hotels such as the Corinithia Towers Hotel or the Alcron hotel located close to the Wenceslas square, in fact Prague is one of European's cities with the highest number of five star hotels. When looking for Prague hotels it is not difficult to find a hotel in the city centre most of the hotels lie in the old city and are located close to each other. This is one of the attractive aspects of Prague, as the city is pretty small compared to some other major European cities , it is easy to explore Prague by foot.
